How Long Must a Foreclosure Remain on Your Credit Report

Question: Is it required that a Foreclosure remain on your credit report for a specific period of time?

Answer: NO.  The law does not mandate anything be report on your credit report.  Further the law mandates that whatever is on your credit report needs to be accurate.
